2009 Arctic Cat Thundercat 1000 H2 EFI ATV

In order to harness all the power and torque that this monster engine puts out, ARCTIC CAT engineers have installed it into a slightly streched "full size" frame with a special "race bred" suspension system and "shaft saver" differential. Not exactly the "same old, same old"!  New for 2009, ARCTIC CAT has added "all new" machined aluminum wheels that are designed to minimize steering effort by optimizing the scrub radius. A new electric differential lock also makes it debut!

The ARCTIC CAT Thundercat 1000 H2 EFI utilizes a race-bred, fully independent suspension with "ride in calibration". This suspension boasts a full 10 inches of front and rear travel as well as 11 inches of ground clearance. The "low profile" seat has been designed for the best ergonomics, and when combined with the race bred suspension makes you one with the machine.

I know, you're asking yourself "what is ride in calibration"? Well, when you climb aboard , you'll feel the machine "hunker down" lowering the center of gravity (approximately 2" while not affecting ground clearance)...you've just just become an extension of the the machine and raised your ability to muscle through the turns.
