The FRS-X2 is second most powerful communicator in the ChatterBox lineup. It features a large illuminated display, and can be either VOX (voice) or PTT (push-to-talk) activated. The FRS-X2 includes a full duplex wired intercom (passenger headset and extension cable sold separately).
Features include inputs for mobile phone and audio (music, navigation, and radar) for full stereo sound along with with auto-mute, packaged in a tough water resistant case. The FRS-X2 also comes with Hi-Fidelity speakers and a noise-suppression microphone. All X-series units are powered by a high capacity rechargeable Ni-MH battery that lasts up to 10-12 hours during use and 20 hours in "standby" mode. The FRS-X2 has a range of up to 2 miles and has 14 channels/38 talk groups.
Available for both Full-Face and Open-Face helmets.
