All “ZR” model sleds utilize Arctic Cat’s “Procross” chassis…the lightest, strongest and most capable chassis design in the industry. The Next-Gen body panels seamlessly cut through the air for aerodynamic efficiency, and when it comes to completing general maintenance, a quarter-turn of two “quick-release” tabs allow the side panels to come off to provide easy access to the engine compartment.
The new “Limited iACT” edition adds groundbreaking suspension technology that lets you instantly switch between three different ride calibrations “on the fly” so you can now adjust your ride to changing trail conditions without leaving your seat. That’s right, this electronic suspension is adjusted by a switch on the handlebar control that sends information to FOX ZERO IQS shocks. The ride position of the suspension is also displayed on the newly redesigned digital gauge.
Also for 2019, new “slimline” handlebar controls are easier to use and put everything at your fingertips; hand & thumb warmers, push button start/reverse, headlight dimmer, and the iACT suspension are all located on the left side of the bars, while a new more intuitive run/stop switch is located on the right hand control. A new STEALTH hydraulic brake system has been added for quicker stops with less effort. In the rear, a new three-wheel rear axle system has been added for more consistent performance and stability.
Two stroke engines include Arctic Cat’s 125hp class 599cc (6000) C-Tech2 or 160hp class 749cc (8000) C-Tech2. Both engines feature Dual Stage Injection (DSI) for quick throttle response and smooth power throughout the power band.
Is four stroke power more to your liking? Check out the venerable 135hp class 1049cc (7000), or maybe you’re the type that wants the “biggest, baddest” engine out there, if so the 200hp class 998cc (9000) turbocharged triple is the one for you! Both offer quiet, economical operation and long term durability.
Regardless of your engine choice, power is transferred to the 1.25” Ripsaw (129″) or Ripsaw II (137″) track via TEAM “Rapid Response II” primary clutch and TEAM “Rapid Reaction” secondary. Out front the Arctic Race Suspension™ gives you 10″ of “bump taming” travel and features a sway bar, while Arctic’s “SLIDE-ACTION” rear suspension has 13.5″ of travel.
Other features of the ZR Limited iACT models include; “Deluxe” digital gauge, LED headlight w/accent light, front “Sport” bumper, goggle bag, tunnel flares, rear tunnel bag, adjustable 5.5” handlebar riser, and 11” mid-height windshield.
