Built on Arctic Cat’s “Procross” chassis…the lightest, strongest and most capable chassis design in the industry, the XF Cross Country excels both on and off trail. The Next-Gen body panels seamlessly cut through the air for aerodynamic efficiency, and when it comes to completing general maintenance, a quarter-turn of two “quick-release” tabs allow the side panels to come off to provide easy access to the engine compartment.
New “slimline” handlebar controls are easier to use and put everything at your fingertips; hand & thumb warmers, push button start/reverse, headlight dimmer are all located on the left side of the bars, while a new more intuitive run/stop switch is located on the right hand control. A new STEALTH hydraulic brake system has been added for quicker stops with less effort. In the rear, a new three-wheel rear axle system has been added for more consistent performance and stability.
Two stroke engines include Arctic Cat’s 125hp class 599cc (6000) C-Tech2 features Dual Stage Injection (DSI) for quick throttle response and smooth power throughout the power band.
The Arctic Cat “Slide-action” rear suspension features a torque sensing link with coupling blocks. Both front and rear suspensions feature 3-position FOX ZERO QS3 that allow you to fine tune your ride with just the turn of a knob.
Power is transferred to the 1.75” “Backcountry X” 137″ track via TEAM “Rapid Response II” primary clutch and TEAM “Rapid Reaction” secondary. Out front the Arctic Race Suspension™ gives you 10″ of “bump taming” travel and features a sway bar, while Arctic’s “SLIDE-ACTION” rear suspension has 13.5″ of travel.
